The volunteer training went amazing! 32 people showed up and many expressed great interest in the program. Rory is in charge of the weekly program, Josh money and Saturday outreaches, Jeff worship and I am in charge of the monthly Rush Hour program. It is working out well doing it that way. We have our meeting Monday nights, then met with Mr. Matlock on Thursday afternoons.
The church asked if Jeff could play some contemporary music Sunday at the beginning of the service!
Last night we met with a younger church couple who is very interested in helping us, they also am helpings some in other ways, PRAISE GOD!
Its getting into full gear now, crazy stuff happening! I am so glad to be along for the ride! (=

We have gotten approved. Yesterday we had our first fundraiser, a car wash. Josh and I did it with Josh's little sisters boyfriend and his little brother. 4 girls from SEU showed up and helped also. Today at church their were some students who are possible attenders for the programs. Josh talked to a local youth group interested in attending our large monthly meeting. I am working on the leader training packet and the first message series. Sunday night we kick off our Bible Study. Jeff leading worship, Josh doing money and games, I lead the message and Rory leads the going deeper section. It shall be interesting.

We are meeting with our adviser once a week to go over everything. We are also having a Bible study with the leaders once a week. Between this and actually doing all the programs and planning it is sucking up all our free time, but in the end it shall be worth it!
